Aeromatherapy

                Massage

What to Expect

What to wear:

We recommend to wear comfortable underwear for this treatment. You will be covered by a towel during the treatment.

We would recommend wearing garments that you don't mind smelling of essential oils until they are washed.

What is it?

A smell can take you on a journey, remind you of the past, mentally stimulating you to how you would like to feel.

Aromatherapists say you are attracted to the

essential oils your body needs.

Let your nose guide your dreamy adventure to

a place of zen.

This is an individualised experience led by you and your needs to relax and get the most out of the

aromatherapy journey.

This tends to be a softer massage with general strokes over the back neck and shoulders. Gently guiding you into the realms of tranquillity.

What happens in an aromatherapy massage?

At the start we have a consultation, this will help to guide us on how you would like your massage. This also includes information we, as a practitioners, need to be aware of;.

For example, medical conditions and medication, as this could effect the areas that are massaged and the oils used.

We will then go through how you would like to feel at the end of the massage, which will help guide us onto the aromas that would be appropriate.

You will then choose out of the selection of pre-blended massage oils, and essential diffuser oils of which

you would like to be used.

What's special about the oils?

We have carefully chosen blended oils by high regarded UK companies.

Neals Yard Remedies ethically resource the best ingredients possible, maximising their therapeutic benefits to create their products in their eco factory in Dorset.

Tisserand are a unique team of UK based experts, who source, blend and procure the finest quality essential oils from their offices in West Sussex, at the

foot of the South Downs.

What is the difference between Aromatherapy and Relaxation?

Aromatherapy concentrates on the aroma and benefits of the essential oils used. It is still a massage that involves relaxation strokes. But the benefits for your body are as much through the oils as they are through the massage.

Relaxation is aimed at activating your "relaxation" nervous system to give you that feeling of floating off the massage bed. It is a much gentler and slower treatment, with varying pressure to suit your needs.
