Welcome to our site

My name is Heather and I am a Massage Therapist for Massage Addict,

in Cleadon Park and South Shields area.

I am a Holistic Massage Therapist that specialises in Sport Massage, Deep Tissue Massage and Hot Stones Massage.

I have had the pleasure of working with a variety of clients from different areas of the world. I have mainly done mobile massage all around the UK at homes, events, festivals and even popped across the water to massage in luxury chalets through the beautiful french alps.

As Massage-Addict, Dan and I have begun the next chapter of our adventures up here in the North after running our clinic for two years in Leeds.

For us, being closer to family and friends (not forgetting the sea) is important, as we start to settle and find a sustainable way of working and living.

Our aim is to provide the best clinical treatments possible, with the best possible care and attention to you our clients and your needs.

I do a variety of massage styles such as relaxation, mobilisation, energy work, trigger point, myofascial release techniques, mobility assessments and

deep muscle relief.

I am a level 4 Holistic and Sport Massage Therapist.

I gained my Holistic Dip HE in Bristol College of Body Massage

from the Massage Training Institute, and my Level 4 Sports Massage from Richdales Institute London.

On top of my main qualifications of Holistic and Sport massage I have also qualified in Deep Tissue massage techniques run by Andy Fagg, chair massage, hot stone massage and and pregnancy massage giving me a variety of skills to help individualise my massage treatments.

Currently I am part of a mentorship with the ProSport academy which provides on going training to further my education of assessing and neurologically training the body to move to the best of its abilities.

In essence working out what isn't working and getting your brain and body comfortable with using it correctly again through injury management.

I believe in continual self development to get the best out of yourself and for you clients. The world is forever evolving!

I love massage, it gives me great pleasure to give my clients a

chance to loosen up, take time out and go into 'the land of relaxation'.

Behind the massage:

I come from a farming background in west Wales and have worked in a variety of jobs such as riding instructing, outdoor pursuits education, care work for both elderly and disabled individuals. I have also been a teaching assistant for a number of years before settling into an outdoor retail store in Cardiff where I was a technical sales assistant and clothing buyer.

My love of sports and caring for people has led me on the path to massage, as it is a great tool to have with both humans and animals.

When I am not working you will often find me walking, climbing and enjoying the company of friends and family (preferably outside having fun).

Please feel welcome to get in touch to ask any questions, or if you prefer,

 book an appointment.
