What is it for?

What happens in a Holistic Massage?

Through our consultation we work out the best individualised massage for you and your body.

Your therapist then leaves the room for you to undress to your comfort level, to then slide between the heated bed and cozy towel.

The therapist knocks and re-enters the room.

They add the finishing touches to make sure your are as comfortable as possible

before starting your holistic journey.

At the end of the massage we place our hands on certain areas of your back and ask you to breathe deeply, before we leave the room for you to dress.

Once dressed we will go through any exercises or trigger points that can help you with day to day wellbeing.

What is Holistic Massage?

Holistic massage looks at the body as a whole in

mind, body and energy.

All our holistic treatments look at the whole body when we create your treatment plan, balancing both physical and emotional elements of your bodies needs.

What does this mean?

We can use a range of massage methods to help you with pain, discomfort and emotional issues. For example using techniques such as trigger points and abdominal massage to ease anxiety (emotional) and IBS (physical).

Generally this treatment isn't done in a spiritual format, but generally through scientific studies and historical energy methods which align.

Holistic massage covers a wide range of treatments such as Lymphatic drainage (Basic level),

breath work for anxiety,

energy work and grounding,

basic reflexology techniques, abdominal massage amongst other skills.

As apart of our holistic massage techniques at

Massage-Addict, we can also use deep tissue massage to iron out any niggles you may have.

At Massage-Addict we don't believe in no pain, no gain. Therefore we try our utmost to use non painful methods but it can be uncomfortable at points.

What to wear:

We recommend to wear comfortable underwear for this treatment. You will be covered by a towel during the treatment.

We can do this fully clothed, and this can be done on a chair.
